How do I schedule an appointment?

There are a few options

1. Click the "Start your journey" tab on our website and follow the steps, you'll be able to view availability and schedule an appointment. 

2. Complete the contact request form located on our website, and we assist you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of major credit cards, cash, and HSA.

What is your fee per session?

Initial intake session- (gathering history, completing assessments and discussing treatment planning)- $125

45 minute individual session- $100

60 minute individual session- $125

60 minute family session- $135

How can therapy help me after an intimate loss?

Therapy provides a safe space to process the complex emotions associated with loss; such as grief, anger, confusion, and loneliness. Together, we’ll work through the pain, reconnect you with your emotions and body, and help you find healing and a renewed sense of self.

Do you work with clients of all ages?

I primarily work with teens and adults who are navigating grief, trauma, and personal loss.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can be incredibly beneficial if you are struggling with emotions, facing challenges that feel overwhelming, or looking for support in navigating life transitions. If you’re unsure, reaching out for an initial consultation can help you determine if therapy is a good fit for your needs.

What if I can’t afford therapy?

I understand that cost can be a barrier, and I do my best to offer a sliding scale or provide resources for low-cost therapy options. Please reach out to discuss your financial situation, and we can explore what works best for you.

Do you accept insurance?

I am currently a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a copay for our sessions, instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursements. I can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your copay would be. 

Is information I share in session confidential?

Confidentiality is a crucial aspect of our sessions. Your personal information, experiences, and feelings will remain between us unless you permit otherwise. However, there are certain situations where I am legally and ethically bound to breach confidentiality, such as if there is a credible risk of harm to yourself or others. In cases, my priority a therapist is to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.

How often should I attend therapy?

Attending weekly sessions have been found to be most effective. Depending on your needs, it may be appropriate to meet more or less often. Let's work together to find the best for you.

What types of therapy do you offer?

I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches, including trauma-informed therapy, somatic therapy and mindfulness. I tailor my approach to fit the unique needs and preferences of each client..

What should I expect in my first session?

In your first session, we will discuss your background, the challenges you're facing, and what you're hoping to achieve through therapy. It's also a time for us to get to know each other, and for you to ask any questions you may have about the process. This initial meeting helps me tailor our work together to best support your needs.

Do you offer virtual therapy or telehealth sessions?

Yes, I offer virtual therapy sessions for clients who prefer or need remote support. These sessions are conducted securely through a HIPAA-compliant platform, ensuring your privacy and safety.
