I am a devoted and skilled psychotherapist who embarked on my journey as therapist in 2019. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling both from Oakland University.
I have a passion for helping others and a profound understanding of human behavior through various experiences and education. I am dedicated to providing personalized and professional therapeutic services.
I am a Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner who engages with clients using Person Centered, Trauma-Informed, Humanistic and Strength- Based approaches. I believe that meeting clients where they are, establishing safety and building a solid rapport are important factors of solidifying a healthy therapeutic relationship. I believe that each client can be the author of their life.
Areas of Specialty I work with adolescents (12 years +) and adults. My specialty areas include grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, anxiety and depression. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced intimate loss, whether it’s the death of a loved one, the end of a significant relationship, or other profound emotional upheavals. My approach helps clients reconnect with their bodies and emotions, which often become disconnected during grief and trauma. I support individuals in exploring and understanding the complex ways their emotions are stored and expressed in the body.
